Food Production Manager
The person hired for this position will analyze production data of an organization and help in decision-making for business opportunities as well as assist in forecasting future projects and production needs. The person will work closely with Accounting, Purchasing and Sales.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee activities directly related to making products or providing services.
Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, or distribution of products.
Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
Plan and direct activities such as coordinating with other department heads as required.
Responsible for the entire operations of organization related to policies, practices, and attainment of operating goals, while reporting directly to president.

BA in Business or 10 years of Manufacturing or Production Management experience.
Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Experience using an ERP system such as SAGE X3, MAS500, Oracle or Lawson.
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment

SOS Staffing Services Inc. (originally SOS Temporary Services/Salt Lake Office Service) was founded December 15, 1972 and opened for business on January 15, 1973 by Richard D. Reinhold and Russell C. Christen in Salt Lake City, Utah. After years of working in the staffing industry, the two entrepreneurs decided to start their own staffing business; they placed their first temporary at a Salt Lake transport company, and the SOS legacy was born.
