The Concierge offers information and special services to guests in order to enhance their visit. In addition, assist all guests with special needs, upgraded services and amenities that meet Stowe Mountain Lodge standards.
Moreover, provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues.
Provides assistance to guests with personalized service and
communicates directly with them, both in person and by telephone.
Creates an environment designed to stimulate all senses through personalized service.
Stays knowledgeable and informed about all resort services and operations, local information on restaurant, shops and activities.
Provides information on facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transportation schedules.
Provides area maps, brochures and other literature.
Arranges tickets, bookings, appointments and reservations for guests.
Ensures that all Stowe Mountain Lodge’s information and general vendor collateral is available, current and presented to the guest in a fashionable manner reflecting the standards.
Follows up with all vendors supplying services to guests to ensure that all arrangements are as reserved.
Reconfirms all reservation, bookings and appointments with guests.
Maintains the working area in a professional and organized manner.
Gathers and records guest information in guest history system and uses guest preferences to ensure a high level of guest recognition and personalized service.
Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
Is knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Resort policies.
Maintains house bank and handles all checks and cash according to Resort policies and procedures.
Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events.
Maximizes revenue and cash flow by promoting resort services, special hotel programs, packages and upgrades when appropriate.
Communicates all pertinent information to the department managers.
Provides support to the Front of the House Department.
Follows set procedures on posting charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
Solicits guest feedback via guest comment cards and acknowledges guest preferences for future visits.
Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assist guests with any questions, directions to the property, etc.
Addresses all guest feedback with the utmost confidence, grace and concern for their satisfaction.
Creates cost saving controls,
nsures economical and safe use of supplies and equipment.
Upholds all safety standards of Stowe Mountain Lodge and Destination Hotels and Resorts.
Is able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Is able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
Is able to stand/walk up to 6-8 hours per day
interacts with all guests and fellow Associates in a positive and friendly manner.
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
• Prior concierge or hospitality experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technical proficiency (basic computer applications).
