SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for serving beverages to guests in the casino, bar lounges or restaurants in an efficient timely manner.
Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions to supervisor, Security, or Safety personnel.
Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest/employee safety in fire/emergency situations.
Abide by all State and Corporate gaming regulations pertaining to the presence of minors in gaming areas.
Assist bartender in the area of glassware: put all dirty glassware in machine to be cleaned.
Assist in emptying clean glassware from machine onto trays and store for future use.
Bartender experience preferred
Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
1. Minimum six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to provide guest service/satisfaction and communicate with other employees and supervisors.
3. Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of beverage items.
4. Must have knowledge of beers, cocktails, specialty drinks and wines.
5. Good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation.
a. While performing the duties of this job with or without a reasonable accommodation, the Employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear.
b. The Employee is also regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
c. The Employee repeatedly transports trays weighting up to 30 lbs. throughout their shift.
d. The Employee has to be able operate with sufficient manual dexterity of hand equipment including charge card machines, trays, glassware, note pads and ash trays.
e. Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances up to a maximum 8 miles per shift within the facility.
f. Ability to walk / stand and work in crowded areas for 95% of the time.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company. Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.
