The National Commercial Chains Manager position with be focused on maximizing the growth and profitability of our base business, sell new products, product applications and programs with our existing customers.
Major responsibilities include:
Work with Sales & Marketing leadership to develop update customer targets
Develop customer business plans including the following:
Product Targets & Forecasts
Customer Profile/Competitive landscape
Customer People Plans/CRM
Resource Support Plan & Budget, Cost tracking (Sales, Marketing, Demand Creation, Culinary, R&D/Customization, Sr Management, Finance, Operations etc.)
Utilize intimate knowledge of RPC key categories
Exceed Account Sales and Profit Goals with Targeted
Manage Budgets and Customer profitability:
Show & Event Budgets
Sample & Air freight budgets
Support our strategy of transition new base business from our Business Development Mangers to allow Business Development Manger(s) to maximize his or her focus on pioneering profitable new accounts.
What do I need to be considered a candidate?
Bachelors degree required (in business mgt, finance, economics or marketing preferred)
Minimum 5 years in food service sales (FS Multi Unit Account experience preferred)
Demonstrated relationship building skills and existing contacts.
Demonstrated financial acumen including understanding of P&L and customer cost drivers.
Demonstrated understanding of the FS Industry including customer organizational alignment, decision making process, back of the house requirements and key profit drivers. (Know how our customers make money)
Project Management skills preferred
Solid written and verbal communications skills to include strong presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and direct others.
PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office
