Summary
The Food Server/Cook is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast and lunch food items and beverages to hotel guests and employees. This position requires knowledge of state and federal laws concerning the handling and dispensing of food and beverages.  The Food Server/Cook must be flexible in order to weekends and/or holidays.

Welcome hotel guests to the breakfast room with a friendly greeting and provide assistance for the self-serve buffet
Meet or exceed all hotel brand standards
Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables.
Prioritize food preparation so that items served together are finished at the same time.
Grill, cook, and fry foods such as french fries, eggs, and pancakes.
Grill and garnish hamburgers or other meats such as steaks and chops.
Complete orders from steam tables, placing food on plates and serving customers at tables or counters.
Perform simple food preparation tasks such as making sandwiches, carving meats, and brewing coffee.
Order supplies and stock them on shelves.

Education and/or Experience
 High School Diploma or GED required.  Prior hotel F&B experience or customer service experience preferred.
 
Computer Skills
 Not required for this position.
 
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance:
AK Food Handler certificate; Serve Safe Certificate; TAM certification.
