In this role you will supervise day-to-day shift activities of one or more food and beverage outlet(s) and schedule employees and ensure they are properly trained and certified if applicable and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job function. You will assist in monitoring performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial results. and in maintaining and enforcing procedures to (1) ensure the security and proper storage of room service inventory and equipment (2) ensure the security of monies, credit and financial transaction, (3) replenish supplies, inventory, uniforms etc. in a timely and efficient manner, and (4) to minimize waste and control costs. This role ensures that all restaurant equipment is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis and that restaurant facilities are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volumes. You may serve as Manager on Duty and perform other duties as assigned. Schedule employees to ensure proper shift coverage. Assist in communicating and enforcing policies and procedures. Monitor performance and recommend and/or initiate disciplinary or other staffing-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies. Alert management of potentially serious issues. Assist in controlling expenses and labor costs within all areas of the food and beverage outlet(s. Maintain procedures for security of monies, credit and financial transactions, and food, beverage, and supply inventory control. Inspect outlet(s) daily to ensure high quality food and food presentation, cleanliness, and sideboard duties completed. Ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions. Participate in taking inventories; prepare liquor and supply orders.

Qualifications
Qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent and one year supervisory experience in a full service restaurant or similar setting. Hospitality Management Degree or some college preferred. An a lcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler cards as required by local or state government agency. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, m oving about the outlet(s), handling objects and products, bending, stooping and kneeling.
