Job Title
Food Server

Job Profile
Greets customers and/or employees seated in the assigned section of the restaurant.
Takes down the food and drink orders of customers; inputs into the computer and prints out a check.
Prepares side orders of customers as the need arises.
Picks up the food orders from the kitchen and delivers to the customers table including the check.
Assists and checks on the customers during dining. Makes drink refills as necessary.
Ensures that all phases of the meal are carried out appropriately and timely in accordance with the standards set by the department.
Removes dirty dishes, ash trays, etc. from the tables during and after the food is served.
Fills sugar containers and salt and pepper shakes as the need arises.Maintains the general cleanliness of the work area.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 21 years of age.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must have three (3) to six (6) months experience in waiting tables.
Must obtain Health Card and alcohol Awaremess Card.
Ability to communicate in English effectively.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, walking and lifting and/or moving objects up to 40 pounds.
Work area is usually exposed to noise, dust and cigarette smoke.
