The Guest Service Agent is the face of the lobby and the first and
last impression for our guests. The GSA position controls the arrival
and departure experience for our guests and it is his/her role to
ensure all guests within the lobby are satisfied. The GSA must act as
a floating concierge and be willing to answer guest inquiries with
regards to hotel amenities and local city information. As a hotel
ambassador, the GSA must act as a liaison between our guests and the
hotel and be willing to go above and beyond his/her role to make sure
all guests are satisfied.
Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Maintains an overall presence in the lobby that specifically
caters towards our guest's experience
Extensive knowledge of the hotel's amenities and hours of
Maintains a daily knowledge of events and meetings at the hotel
to ensure proper direction to our guests
Greets all guests with a warm and appropriately friendly
Direct guests to the Front Desk for check-in
Call taxis for guests as needed
Organizes all major luggage hold and retrieval operations for
our group and leisure guests
Controls high demand check-in and check-out scenarios by acting
as a liaison between our guests and the Guest Services
Maintains a clean and orderly appearance of the work area at all
times, which includes the bell closet, lobby and front drive
Controls the traffic flow in and out of the lobby
Notifies the front desk and guest services of VIP arrivals
whenever possible
Assists with guest packages
Applicants must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
Position requires a flexible schedule including nights,, weekends and
holidays. Must be able to use computers, printers, photo-copier and
fax machine.
