Performs a variety of duties for the set up, delivery, and serving of food.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
may include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times
Maintains HACCP standards
Maintains FHN workforce standards
Sets up stations with breads, condiments, and utensil
Accurately assembles patient meal trays
Serves and replenishes food from counters and steam tables (sometimes using a conveyor food belt), and breaks down stations at the end of meal periods following verbal or written instructions
May brew coffee and tea
Lift and move supplies, equipment, furniture, and food
Provide direction and training to other Food Service Workers
Interact with customers and or patients when delivering trays (possibly on several floors using large carts)
May assist patients with opening containers, cutting food, etc.
Calculate and document patient food and fluid intake
Expected to be clean, and sanitize workstations, counters, steam tables, and other equipment including dishwashing machine
Follow cash handling standards
Follow all Sodexho, client, and regulatory rules and procedures
May be assigned other duties as needed
Employee is not in a supervisory role.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
