Children's is searching for a Supervisor of the Rainbow House
who supervises the day-to-day operations of Rainbow House facilities, policy/procedures, activities, staff, volunteers and programming to ensure excellent hospitality services in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
ESENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Rainbow House. Overall operations, including but not limited to such areas as customer relations, maintenance, housekeeping, budget, supplies, donations, staffing, etc.
Suggests and assists in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
Ensures cost effective use of resources.
Suggests and assists in the effective and positive engagement of staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Creates a positive and supportive environment for visitors, staff, and volunteers.
Actively communicates with customers, visitors, staff, related departments, and leaders concerning any service issues and complaints.
Suggests and assists in the compliance with practices, procedures, policies, regulations, and recordkeeping standards.
Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of budgets, business plans, etc.
Actively reviews and implements performance improvement and customer service opportunities ensuring more efficient and effective operations.
Assists hiring, training and supervision of employees and volunteers.
Assists in the annual review process, to include compensation recommendations
Maintains employee and volunteer schedules and personnel related items.
Provides on-going coaching and counseling, as needed.
Serves as a role model for exemplary customer service.
Represents the Rainbow House at events and activities as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Thorough knowledge in hospitality industry management.
Ability to thoroughly train, support and manage staff and volunteers in a variety of areas that are a priority to position.
Working knowledge of computers, and ability to navigate within software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as experience with property management systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in business or health care, required. Experience may be substituted fpr education.
Minimum three years experience in hospitality or guest service industry, supervisory/lead experience
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid drivers license
