Hardage Hospitality is currently
looking for a tenured Hotel Operations Manager to lead our culinary
& front desk team at our new dual branded Residence Inn and Courtyard
located in beautiful Marina in Del Rey.
Hotel Operations Manager will be accountable for the overall success of
front desk & all property food outlets; Brizo Restaurant, Sam’s Coffee
Call, Main Bar, Terrace Deck Bar, 2200 sq. ft. of meeting space, private dining
room, room service, Residence Inn Hearth breakfast room, pick up, delivery, in
& outdoor dining. The Hotel Operations Manager will be responsible for creating
a team inclusive culture ensuring each team member exceeds our guests and local
neighbors’ expectations. The hotel
managers will lead the team in catering to creative, cosmopolitan, culture
seekers that appreciate sophisticated, timeless service. We will provide original, chic and memorable
service experiences to inspire our
guests. This position will be the
Manager on Duty in absence of the General Manager and Assistant General
Supervises Front Desk, Food & Beverageoperations: hiring, training and development, performance evaluations hold teamaccountable to set standards.
Maintains Quality Assurance and GuestService Survey scores within Marriott Green Zone.
Maintains cost control systems for staffing,food and beverage inventory.
Maintains Food & Beverage ServiceStandards.
Contributes to the profitability and guestsatisfaction perception of all hotel departments.
Enforces Marriott and Hardage Hospitalitypolicies and procedures.
Ensures quality services are rendered inexceeding guest expectations and that guest relations are enhanced.
Schedules staff according to laborstandards and forecasted occupancy.
Prepares daily assignments / prep sheetsfor all Servers, Kitchen and Front Office associates.
Ensures proper set up, service, breakdownand cleaning of Front Desk, F & B outlets and meeting room in accordancewith meeting room contracts.
Increases level of guest satisfaction bydelivery of an improved product through associate development, job engineeringand quality image.
Maintains productivity and labor costgoals.
Conducts monthly department meetings.
Attends weekly staff meetings.
Acts as Manager on Duty as required.
Completes projects as determined byGeneral Manager & Assistant General Manager.
Other duties as assigned, of which theassociate is capable of performing.
Marriott and Fosse experience a plus
Ability to work without supervision, toorganize and track multiple projects with large amount of detail necessary
Ability to develop team culture
Possess good communication skills, bothverbal and written
Ability to effectively deal with internaland external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tactand diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information and resolveconflicts.
Ability to effectively deal withassociates requests and an issues addressing guests.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well inpressure situations
Commitment to exceptional guest service
Great positive attitude
High school diploma or GED; 3 years’experience in leading busy hotel front desk & leading, food and beverageoperations, or related professional area.Marriott preferred.
