is built on the site of the historic Ford family farm in Dearborn, the birthplace of Henry Ford. The beautiful campus which can accommodate 1000 residents includes:

Casual breakfast or lunch at the Windows Café.
Fine dining in the evening at the Great Lakes or the St. Clair dining rooms.

With emphasis on superior quality standards and outstanding customer service, the Director will oversee all dining room operations, meal service to residents and employees and vendor relations. The scope of the position will encompass directing all aspects of the department, including leadership, administration, quality assurance and control, nutrition, procurement, regulatory compliance, cost control, sanitation, HACCP and future planning. Henry Ford Village is a non-profit organization with a non-union, self-operated food service department which offers three restaurant options including casual and formal dining to its residents.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Dining Services who has successfully managed the Food Service Department of another large, upscale senior living community (CCRC). 7 years of foodservice management experience is preferred, along with ServSafe certification. A college degree in foodservice administration, dietetics or hospitality is desired. Excellent communication, guest service approach and staff training expertise are essential for success in this role.
