If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Mokara Hotel & Spa may be your perfect match.nJob DescriptionnThis position ensures that assigned public space and guest room floors are kept fully stocked and clean while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding our guest expectations.nResponsibilitiesnn Signs keys and radio in and out from Loss Preventionn Ensures that assigned linen room closets are stocked at parn Empties GRAs carts linens and trash as neededn Assist to strip check out rooms of linen and removes trashn Assists taking Private Dining dishes, tables and trays from the guestrooms and corridors to the service elevator landingn Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean and vacuumedn Sweeps, scrubs, mops hard surface floors on assigned sectionn Assists in deep cleaning and shampooing carpet and/or furnituren Maintains corridor furniture cleann Moves furniture upon requestn Completes quarterly mattress flip projectn Completes guest requestsn Picks ups guest shoes to shine and delivers them backn Assists in the distribution of items to all guests roomsn Assists in Housekeeping inventoriesn Washes and places back in linen closets glassware and coffee cupsn Cleans balconies as requestedn Assists GRAs with guestroom suppliesn Ensures all linen is dropped in the linen chute in a timely mattern Takes soiled bedspreads, blankets, pillows, and other large bedding items to the Laundry to be washedn Turns in Lost and Found items found to Housekeeping Office before the end of the shiftn Deposits trash in the trash area and cardboard boxes in the balern Cleans up bio hazard spills in guestrooms and public areas with proper safety gearn Reports missing or damaged items in the guestrooms or public areas to Supervisorn Reports engineering issues to the Office Coordinator or Supervisorn Places and removes Motor Lobby rugs as neededn Assists in other Housekeeping areas including the Laundry as needednnQualificationsnn Ability to work in a fast paced environmentn Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radion Manual labor experience requiredn Basic English skills are required (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities, give directions to guests)n Housekeeping experience preferredn Must be able to read and understand daily work assignmentsn Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basisn Must be able to push/pull up to 250 pounds frequentlyn Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysnn**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
