Assistant Restaurant Manager Jobs description
An assistant restaurant manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards for a restaurant or a hotel department. An assistant restaurant manager is responsible for high levels of hygiene control and health and safety throughout the department. Responsibilities include staff development; ensuring high levels of customer service; organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings; assigning staff duties; and directing staff in their work assignments. An assistant restaurant manager may also create and forecast revenue reports, and maintain profitability of the outlet to support overall operation.An assistant restaurant manager job requires a college degree in a hospitality related field. A successful assistant restaurant manager will have at least 2 years of supervisory experience within a similar operation. An assistant restaurant manager should be an organized professional who has the ability to interact positively with customers and to resolve guest and associate issues.
